When a child’s parent or significant loved one dies, their lives change forever.
Grieving children often feel alone and isolated, and they think there is no one else like them.
Kidzcope provides the opportunity for children, teens and their families to learn lifelong coping skills after the death of a loved one. Since 2000, families throughout Kansas have come to us in their time of need. Within our walls, children between the ages of 3 and 18 years can find comfort, community, healing and — most importantly — hope after the loss of their loved one.
How we can help
Kidzcope offers a variety of support groups, programs and workshops to help children and families struggling with the death of a loved one. We provide grief support training for schools and organizations, and offer volunteers myriad opportunities to help with our mission.
